Take to the skies over one of London’s busiest Airports – Gatwick Airport!!! Enjoy a one-hour flight aviating your way around the controlled airspace that protects Gatwick Airport’s passenger jet aircraft.
This tour will take you past Box Hill, a National Trust beauty spot famous for its woodland walks and views of the South Downs. Then onwards to Dunsfold Aerodrome, once a BAE manufacturing site and home of the Sea Harrier. Today, the site is used by Top Gear and McLaren cars, among a host of other businesses.
Whilst over Dunsfold Aerodrome, see if you can spot the two ex-British Airways Jumbo Jets and a VC10?
You will then route sSouth nearby Midhurst town, famous for its polo pitches and where most of the windows are painted yellow!
Following Midhurst, you’ll fly South to soar over the South Downs and to view the English Channel, past Goodwood Airfield – once RAF Westhampstead and now the home of motor racing and flying.
Turning East, you will see the views of the Isle of Wight and following the South Downs, you may see the Seven Sisters white cliffs in the distance as we fly north of Brighton City Airport.
You will turn North over Sussex, passing Tunbridge Wells, Hever Castle before returning back for tea & tiffin at the Pilot’s Hub Café!
