Aerobatic Flight Experience Oxford

Fancy being the next Red Arrow’s pilot? Have your chance to have your world turned upside down with this Aerobatic Flight Experience over Oxford!

During your exhilarating aerobatic flight, your instructor will show you how to fly a loop-the-loop and a roll, the two main manoeuvres that form the basis for all aerobatic flights. Our aircraft are fully aerobatic and are capable of extreme manoeuvres – so not for the faint-hearted!

On the day of your flight you will receive an in-depth pre-flight briefing, during which all the controls will be explained. You’ll fly with an experienced instructor, and once airborne your instructor will demonstrate the manoeuvres and give you the opportunity to fly the aircraft yourself.

The aeroplane you will be flying in is a T67 Slingsby Firefly, a former RAF training aircraft. Primarily used to train military pilots the art of aerobatics before moving onto more advanced jets. The T67 you’ll be flying in was originally operated by the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force (you can tell by it’s G-reg, ‘G-HONG’), where it was in service for 15 years before retiring for civil operations in the UK.

Prince Harry flew his first solo in a T67!

Once you’ve come back down to earth, why not explore the Oxfordshire countryside – maybe visit Blenheim Palace and see what’s going on.

If this is not necessarily your cup of tea, why not try a tamer flight in our light aircraft like a Cessna.
