RAF Special Flight Experience
Wanted to fly for the RAF but never got the opportunity? Now’s your chance in this incredible RAF Special Flight Experience!
Get geared up in the classic green RAF flying suit before walking out with your ex-military pilot to your RAF T-67 Firefly.
Take off from former RAF Enstone and fly towards RAF Fairford or RAF Brize Norton to get a different perspective of an active aerodrome. Have your chance to see the massive beasts of the B-52’s at Fairford or the C-17’s (Globe Master) at Brize – you may even get to see a refuelling tanker fly-by.
On your way home, it’s time to tighten up your straps for an exhilarating experience of aerobatic manoeuvres. Learn moves like the stall turn, snap roll, barrel roll and loop the loop!
To make your day even better, not only will your fighter pilot instructor show you the signature moves, but you’ll also be offered to get hands-on with the controls and feel the plane for yourself!
The plane you will be flying in is a former RAF aircraft. Originally operated by the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force (you can tell by it’s G-reg, ‘G-HONG’), where it was in service for 15 years before retiring for civil operations in the UK.
The Slingsby Firefly was the primary training aircraft for the military to train their pilots the art of aerobatics, before moving onto more advanced jets. Prince Harry flew his first solo in a T67!
